French Open 1959 (badminton)

The 1959 French Open in Badminton took place in Paris from April 3rd to 5th, 1959. It was the 31st edition of the championship. Players from 16 nations were at the start. Lee Kin Tat from Singapore won the men's doubles and men's singles titles. Only in mixed he had to be content with third place. There he lost with Marjorie Sharp from England in the semifinals to the eventual winners Atte Nyberg and Mireille Laurent with 15:17 and 5:15.
