The Vion Breeding cattle and livestock GmbH is a German cattle trade agency and part of the Dutch meat company Vion . The company was founded in 1969 and is based in Bad Bramstedt , with locations in Dalum , Diepholz , Duben , Einbeck , Hanover and Neumünster . It has 23 of its own transporters, the remaining journeys are assigned to forwarding agents. In 2016, 2 million pigs and 206,000 cattle were traded. With 110 employees a turnover of 355 million euros was achieved.

Vion Zucht- und Nutzvieh GmbH has been the main sales partner of the pig genetics company PIC Germany since 1982 through the Hybridschweine-Cooperationsgesellschaft mbH (Hy-Co) joint venture founded in 1980 and based in Bad Bramstedt .
