Virginia Bergin

Virginia Bergin (* 1966 in Abingdon , England ) is a British author of end-time novels.

Life

Bergin grew up in Abingdon , Oxfordshire . She studied psychology at Oxford and began studying at the College of Art and Design in London before turning to creative writing. After poetry and short stories, Bergin first wrote several screenplays and TV scripts. Her debut novel Rain - The Deadly Element also initially existed as a script that emerged in the wake of the success of The Hunger Games .

For her third novel Who Runs the World? she was awarded the James Tiptree, Jr. Award for 2017 in 2018 .
