Zakhiti Nene (born April 2, 1998 ) is a South African sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Zakhiti Nene gained his first experience in international championships at the Summer Universiade 2017 in Taipei , where he reached the semi-finals over 400 meters and was eliminated there with 46.55 seconds. The following year he took part with the relay at the African Championships in Asaba and won the silver medal there in 3: 03.50 minutes behind the team from Kenya. In 2019 he won the silver medal behind Mexico at the Student World Games in Naples in 3: 03.23 min and could not finish the preliminary run with the 4 x 100 meter relay.
