Visão [vi'zɐ̃u] ( Portuguese for look , appearance or vision ) is a Portuguese weekly news magazine.
The editorial office is in Lisbon . The magazine, planned as a follow-up project to O Jornal, which will appear until 1992, has been published since March 1993 and belongs to the Edimpresa company , which is in turn part of the Portuguese media group Impresa . The first editor-in-chief was Carlos Cáceres Monteiro , currently Pedro Camacho is head of the Visão . In 2014, the weekly circulation of the Visão was around 82,000 copies.
The Visão is clearly similar in appearance to the international models Time and Der Spiegel . The culture magazine Visão7 is enclosed with all editions , and there has recently been an additional children's edition called Visão Junior.
