Vitellozzo Vitelli
Vitellozzo Vitelli (* 1531 in Città di Castello , Italy , † November 19, 1568 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church .
Vitelli was bishop of Città di Castello from 1554 to 1560 . He then held the office of bishop of Imola for a year before he was bishop of Carcassonne from 1567 . Vitelli was also a member of the Roman Curia . Pope Paul IV elevated him to cardinal on March 15, 1557. From 1564 to 1568 Vitelli was Cardinal Chamberlain of the Roman Catholic Church. From 1564 he was cardinal deacon of Santa Maria in Via Lata .
