Vittorio Rambaldi

Vittorio Rambaldi (* in Ferrara ) is an Italian film director .

Rambaldi, son of effects specialist Carlo Rambaldi , came into contact with the film industry at an early age, graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles , and directed an animal horror film in the USA in 1988 that brought little new in inexpensive production. An action thriller followed seven years later, and another eleven years later the animated film Yo-rhad, un amico dallo spazio, based on his own template . His last film so far is the drama Il soffio dell'anima from 2009. In addition, he was responsible for documentaries, music clips and advertising films as well as the first Italian multimedia piece La storia bandita .

In addition to books for his films, Rambaldi wrote several children's books , starting in 2001 with Amici per los pazio . He also uses the Americanized name Victor Rambaldi , under which he published a book about his father in 2013.
