Viviane Loschetter (born April 10, 1959 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg politician of the Green Party ( déi gréng ). She is a social worker by profession.

She joined the Green Party in 1998, has been a member of parliament since 2004 and became parliamentary group president in 2013.

For Viviane Loschetter, the original green theme, protecting nature, also enables everyone to enjoy equal living conditions. Other important points are socially just policies for the labor market and equal opportunities for men and women.

Community politics

Since January 1, 2000, she has been represented on the City Council of Luxembourg City. In 2005 she became a lay judge in the capital.

State politics

Viviane Loschetter was elected to the Chambre des Députés on June 13, 2004 . In the elections of June 7, 2009 and October 20, 2013 , she was able to regain her mandate.

She is also President of the Green Party Group.
