Viviane Spethmann

Viviane Spethmann (born September 15, 1967 in Mexico City ) is a Hamburg lawyer and former CDU politician.

Viviane Spethmann studied law at the University of Hamburg after graduating from high school and completed her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court . She has been an independent lawyer since 1998 and a specialist lawyer for family law since 2009.

politics

Spethmann has been a member of the CDU since 1983.

Since October 8, 1997 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . Her main focus of parliamentary work was on legal and constitutional policy. She was the specialist spokesperson for the CDU parliamentary group for law and equality. From 2000 to 2008 she was chairwoman of the CDU local association Winterhude, from 2008 to 2011 deputy CDU parliamentary group chairwoman and until June 2012 deputy CDU state chairwoman. In addition, she sat on the judges' selection committee.

After a 27-year commitment, Spethmann was no longer appointed as a party congress delegate in April 2012 by her local CDU association in Winterhude. On September 2, 2012, Spethmann resigned her seat in the citizenry and withdrew from politics.

Since 1991 she has been a member of the White Ring and head of the Lohnsteuerberatungsverbund eV - Lohnsteuerhilfeverein - Hamburg Advice Center.
