Voe of the Brig is a small bay ( Voe ) in the north of Mainland , the main island of about Scotland scoring Shetlands . The landside part belongs to the North Roe Peninsula and is in the area of ​​the Community Council Area Northmavine . Towards the sea, it opens up to the larger Colla Firth , a bay of Yell Sound , which is part of the North Sea . In the bay is the Collafirth Pier, the port of the little south-west of Collafirth .

The eastern boundary forms the Ness of Housetter peninsula with the town of Housetter on it . In the north, the bay is dominated by the 147-meter-high Beorgs of Housetter , in the southwest by 233-meter-high Collafirth Hill .

The part of the name Brig refers to a bridge over which the A970 highway, which runs along the bay, crosses the Burn of Roerwater stream flowing in from the northwest . North of the bay, immediately above the A970, are two cairns with the Meishie o 'Stanes ( German  basket of stones ) . They are classified as Scheduled Monument and are therefore under monument protection.
