The Vogtland Regional TV (short: VRF ) was a privately operated television station in Vogtland . It was founded on July 1, 1994 as a merger of several smaller broadcasters in the region. After filing for bankruptcy in August 2015, broadcasting ceased on January 1, 2016.

According to its own information, it reached 130,000 households in the Vogtland and the surrounding area with a weekly new two-hour program that was updated on Thursdays.

The company was based in Plauen , the largest city in the Vogtland district .
