The Vokil Point (English; Bulgarian нос Вокил nos Wokil ) is a 300 m long headland in the southwest of Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms the north side of the entrance to Barutin Cove , the south side of the entrance to Ensenada Del Mármol and is 2 km south of Esteverena Point and 2 km north of Monroe Point .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the Bulgarian ruling house Wokil in the 8th century .
