The Esteverena Point (English; Spanish Punta Esteverena ) is a headland in the west of Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately southwest of Byewater Point and limits the entrance to Ensenada Del Mármol in the north .
Argentine scientists named them after Corvette Captain Horacio Alberto Esteverena (* 1914), the ship's captain of the Granville on an Argentine Antarctic expedition that was carried out between 1947 and 1948.
