Maria Elisabeth Aigner

Maria Elisabeth Aigner (born July 12, 1967 ) is an Austrian Roman Catholic theologian , pastoral psychologist and university teacher .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1985 with distinction from BG and BRG Leoben and completing her degree in English and American Studies in 1991 , she was a study assistant at the Institute for Pastoral Theology at the Karl-Franzens University in Graz from January 1992 to January 1995 . After completing her degree in combined religious education in 1994 and studying specialist theology, she did a teaching internship at the BG and BRG Dreihackengasse in January 1994/95. In 1995 she was a contract assistant at the Institute for Pastoral Theology. She began studying pastoral theology for a doctoral thesis in 1996 at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Innsbruck . From 1996 to 1999 she completed a pastoral psychological training course “Counseling and practical support in pastoral care”. From January 1998 to January 1999 she was a contract assistant at the Institute for Catechetics and Religious Education. 1998–1999 Pastoral Psychological Training Course “Bibliodrama” Summer. In January 2002 she graduated as a life and social counselor, freelance work in counseling and supervision, and as a bibliodrama leader in autumn. In 2005 she started the habilitation project on the topic: Bibliodrama as an exemplary place for gender-equitable church education . In 2006 she graduated as a Bibliolog trainer in the “European Bibliolog Network”. In 2011 she became head of the Pastoral Psychology Department. She was awarded her doctorate in 2000 and her habilitation in 2013.
