Voldemārs Plade
Voldemārs Valdis Plade (born December 24, 1900 in Riga , † January 27, 1961 in Germany ) was a Latvian national football player .
Plade started playing football in the youth of the Union Unions Riga . From there he moved in 1921 to SV Kaiserwald Riga , a club founded by the Baltic Germans , where he played until 1925. He then went to Riga FK for two seasons . From 1928 to 1935 he played with the Rigas Vanderer . In the national team he was used for the first time in 1923. By 1929 he played 16 international matches, with 9 international goals. After the end of his career, he coached several clubs in Latvia.
