Volkan Dikmen (born October 14, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .
Career
society
Dikmen was born as the son of Turkish guest workers in Berlin and began playing club football here in the youth department of SV Nord Wedding in 1893 . Here he was spotted by the Hertha BSC talent scouts and in the summer of 2005 he moved to Hertha’s youth department.
For the second half of the 2009/10 season, Dikmen had an offer from the Turkish first division club Kayserispor that he accepted and moved to the Turkish Süper Lig . Here he came to only two first division appearances in a year, and played more for the reserve team.
In the winter transfer period 2010/11 Dikmen moved within the league to promoted Kardemir Karabükspor . The move to Karabükspor did not materialize in retrospect. So Dikmen decided to continue his career in Germany. After returning from Turkey, he was hired by the Berlin club Türkiyemspor and played there for a year and a half. In spring 2012 he left Türkiyemspor, in spring 2012 he left Türkiyemspor after bankruptcy proceedings were opened against the association. He moved to the fourth Turkish division to Sancaktepe Belediyespor .
After a year for Sancaktepe Belediyespor, Dikmen hired in the spring of 2013 at the second division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor .
National team
Dikmen played several times for the Turkish U-17, U-18 and U-19 national youth teams. With the U-17 he took part in the U-17 European Football Championship in 2008 and made it to the semifinals with his team.
