Volker Götz

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Volker Götz (born March 24, 1945 in Rebesgrün / Vogtland ) is a German lawyer .

The so-called radical decree was first applied to him.

In 1973, Volker Götz was appointed judge on probation by the North Rhine-Westphalian Justice Minister Diether Posser ( SPD ) . There were no findings against him, but he was a member of the DKP . The then coalition partner FDP protested against the appointment together with the German Association of Judges and the Bar Association.

Diether Posser rescinded the appointment due to the protest, although he considered it unconstitutional to view membership in an approved party as an exclusion criterion.
