Volker Löffler (born June 27, 1942 in Oberlind ) is a former German sprinter who started for the GDR .

In 1961 Löffler won the championship title at the GDR championships with the 4 × 400 m relay of the SC DHfK . Three years later he was able to secure his second medal at national championships. As a bronze medalist over 100 m, he was accepted into the Olympic squad with which he took part in the eliminations for the overall German Olympic team in 1964. The 4 × 100 m relay of the GDR qualified against the favored sprinters from the FRG. Löffler was nominated as a relay runner for the 1964 Olympic Games in Japan . In Tokyo he reached the semi-finals in the 4 x 100 meter relay for the German team .

He set his personal best over 100 m of 10.4 s in 1962.
