Volker Pöhler

Volker Pöhler (* 1953 in Neustadt an der Orla ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and a former member of the Thuringian state parliament.

The graduate civil engineer Pöhler has been a member of the city council of Bad Langensalza since 1990 and sits in the district council of the Unstrut-Hainich district .

In March 2000 he joined the Thuringian state parliament as the successor to Heinrich Dietz . He was not elected to the state parliament in the 2004, 2009 and 2014 state elections. In 2018 he took part in the mayoral election in Bad Langensalza . He did not make it into the runoff election as fourth.
