Heinrich Dietz

Heinrich Georg Dietz (born May 25, 1941 in Bamberg ) is a former German CDU politician .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1960, Heinrich Dietz studied philosophy, law and history. In 1960 he became a member of the student association KDSt.V. Fredericia Bamberg in the CV . In 1967 Dietz received his doctorate in Würzburg on the subject of the politics of the Bamberg Monastery at the end of the Thirty Years' War, with particular emphasis on his efforts to achieve the Peace of Westphalia . This was followed by the 1st state legal examination in Bavaria in 1970, the doctorate to become Dr. iur. utr. in 1976 on the subject of martial law problems related to award law: international law investigations following the German award judicature of the Second World War and the 2nd state legal examination in Bavaria in 1978. His admission to the bar was granted in 1979. On August 13, 1979, Dietz entered the service of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate as a member of the government and was also a lecturer at the Mayen University of Applied Sciences from 1979 to 1981 . In 1981 he returned his admission as a lawyer, and was re-admitted in October 1995. This was followed by positions as government director in the Ministry of the Interior in Mainz in 1985 and as city administration director in Kaufbeuren from 1987 to 1992. From February 1, 1992 to October 31, 1994 Dietz Ministerialrat in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior and from September 1992 Head Ministerialrat there. In the 2nd electoral term 1994–1999 and in the 3rd electoral term 1999–2004 Heinrich Dietz was elected a member of the Thuringian state parliament. In the last years of his career, Dietz was President of the State Audit Office in Thuringia from 2000 to 2006 .

Dietz lives in Hildburghausen . He is Catholic, married and has three children.
