Volker Schwamborn

Volker Schwamborn (* 1944 ) is a German doctor and retired medical officer in the Bundeswehr .

In his last military assignment he was the first commander of the Medical Command II. For general physician , he was promoted on 1 February 2002.

Today he is editor-in-chief of the magazines Wehrmedizin und Wehrpharmazie and Medical Corps International Forum (MCIF). He is also a member of the advisory board of the Friends of Concerts at Oranienstein Castle . He was committed to the restoration of the Diez princely crypt .

On October 21, 2005, he was awarded the Legion of Merit .
