Volker sun

Volker Sonne (born June 16, 1930 in Darmstadt ) is a German geologist. He was director of the State Geological Office of Rhineland-Palatinate and honorary professor at the University of Mainz . He dealt in particular with the Tertiary of the Mainz Basin, including micropalaeontology.

He is an honorary member of the Upper Rhine Geological Association .
