Volker Steinwascher

Volker Steinwascher (born March 4, 1943 ) is a German motorboat racing driver . He is the brother of the equally successful racing boat driver Jörg Steinwascher . Both came to motor boating because their father sold boats and boat engines in his Siegburg company.

Sporting successes

Volker Steinwascher gained his first racing experience in 1962 in the inflatable boat class PE ( outboards up to 850 cm³) and his first successes in the sport boat class DU (outboards up to 700 cm³). Later he concentrated on the racing boat class OC (racing engines up to 500 cm³) so as not to compete with his brother.
