Volkmar I of Brandenburg
Volkmar I. (also Folkmar ) was the third bishop of Brandenburg from 980/981 to 983.
Life
Folkmar was consecrated by Archbishop Adalbert von Magdeburg in 980 or early 981. He fled Brandenburg from the Slav uprising of 983 while other clergy were captured. Further details about his person have not been passed down.
