history
The bank's statutes were presented on September 4, 1865, and on October 1 it was opened as the Ebingen commercial bank . The supervisory board at that time included Messrs. Daser (treasurer), Dodel, Goebel, Groz, Keller, Carl Theodor Landenberger, Christian Landenberger (auditor), Linder, Schwarz, Friedrich Wohnhas (director) and Wolfer. The bank has been registered in the cooperative and commercial register since 1871. In 1940 the commercial bank was finally renamed Volksbank Ebingen. On August 13, 2014 Volksbank Ebingen eG merged with Volksbank Tailfingen eG to form Volksbank Albstadt eG.
