People's Bible
The term Volksbibel stands for:
- a widely used edition of the Bible in the sense of the earlier Biblia pauperum
- early illustrated Bible editions with miniatures - so-called history Bibles - e.g. B. the Vorauer Volksbibel from 1467
- a Bible translation (selection) by Alfons Heilmann: The Catholic People's Bible from 1912
- Volksbibel (2004) , an illustrated joint edition of the Bible by the Evangelical and Catholic Churches from 2004
