Volturnus
Volturnus was a god of flowing waters in the Roman religion .
Presumably it originated from a Samnite cult. Other sources equate it with the Tiber .
His festival, the Volturnalia , was celebrated on August 27th. He had his own flamen as a priest (flamen Volturnalis) .
