The Volturnus Lake ( English ; Bulgarian езеро Волтурн esero Wolturn ) is a roughly triangular, north-south orientation 225 m long, 215 m wide and 3.15 hectare large lake on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 965 m east of Rish Point , 440 m south of the Clark Nunatak and 1.4 km northwest of Amadok Point in the southeast of the island.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named him in 2020 after Volturnus , a god of flowing waters from Roman mythology .
