The Von-der-Tann-Straße 2 property in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen, is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-114-359 .

history

The property was originally built as a restaurant building for the Bad Kissinger Kurtheater in 1856 in the Swiss house style. Since the spa theater, which was also built in 1856 (the predecessor of today's spa theater, built in 1904) had no lounges for the public, a separate restaurant building for the theater was necessary.

The property is a two-story saddle roof building with a solid ground floor, half-timbered upper floor and eastern balcony porches. The architectural style corresponds to that of the spa theater built in 1856. In the original state, the gable front, the knee , the sloping gable, the upper gable triangle as well as the parapets and intercolumns were provided with decorative elements in the form of lush fretwork panels.

The property was later converted into a spa pension.
