Vučina kuća na Savi is a former residential building on Karađorđeva 61-61а in the Belgrade municipality of Savski Venac . The building was built in 1908 and, as a cultural monument, is an immovable cultural asset .

The house near the Sava was built during the heyday of the "Sava settlement", based on the design of the architect Dimitrije T. Leko, as a representative two-storey building with a double function for the merchant Đorđe Vučo. The business premises were on the ground floor, while the upper floors were intended for living. The building is the counterpart to the building of the Belgrade Cooperative Society opposite .

Although the concept of the building was realized in the traditional way, the design of the main facade with its three-part facade division shows the influence of the new Art Nouveau architecture. The front facade facing the market is characterized vertically by the three-part windows and in the area of the roof with a vaulted attic and a pyramid-shaped dome . The central motif of the decorative design of the facade is the motif of a woman's head with a bowl and garlands in the semicircular tympanum on the first floor. The side facades were enlivened with balconies , the wrought-iron railings of which show geometric and floral motifs. Business premises were located on the ground floor, and representative apartments were located on the floors above.

Vučo's house is a contribution to the development of the former Mali Pijac ("small market") not far from the Sava and illustrates the relationship between the investor and the architect, which was unique in Belgrade architecture, as all the buildings are owned by the Vučo family from the architect Dimitrije T Leko were designed. During the 19th century, land and houses of wealthy Belgrade citizens, including those of the Atula , Vučo and Stojanović families , were located in this district . The house of Ljubomir Krsmanović, built in 1894, and the hotel "Bosna" were located around Mali Pijac. The building was partially damaged in the bombing in World War II. Repairs were made in 1946.
