Tub group volcanic complex

The volcanic complex of the tub group is up to 277.8  m above sea level. NHN high part of the East Eifel in the district of Mayen-Koblenz in the northern part of Rhineland-Palatinate .

Geographical location

The Wannengruppe is located approx. 2.5 km south of Plaidt between the communities Plaidt, Saffig , Bassenheim , Ochtendung and Kruft mainly in the area of ​​the community Ochtendung. Geographically, the Group is part of the unit 291 220 Pellenz volcanoes (East) , so it is natural area not the Eifel, but the Middle Rhine area assigned.
