Vytautas Andrius Graičiūnas

Vytautas Andrius Graičiūnas (born August 17, 1898 in Chicago , † January 9, 1952 in Olscheras, Russia ) was a Lithuanian management theorist and consultant.

Life

From 1914 to 1917 he studied in the Faculty of Administration and Business at the University of Chicago . 1918 graduated from the aviation school . From 1919 to 1923 studied at the Chicago Technology Institute . From 1927 he lived in Kaunas and worked as a consultant for Jonas Vailokaitis . He taught at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas . In 1924 he married the actress Unė Babickaitė .

He was awarded the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas .

A college ( VA Graičiūnas College of Management ) is named after him .
