Vytautas Kvietkauskas

Vytautas Kvietkauskas (born January 27, 1952 in Kaunas , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian journalist and politician.

Life

After graduating from the 23rd Vilnius Middle School in 1969 , he studied journalism in 1974 at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1973 he worked at Lietuvos radijo ir televizijos komitetas (LRT) as a correspondent, moderator of the programs "Keliai, mašinos, žmonės", "Labas rytas", editor of "Sankryža". In 1996 and 1997 he was director of LRT.

From 1990 to 1992, from 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas , from 1995 to 1997 a member of the Vilnius City Council ( LDDP ). From 2008 to 2009 he was General Director of UAB “ Balto Media ” ( Achemos grupė ).
