Vytautas Mockus
Vytautas Mockus (born October 9, 1957 in Kupiškis ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of the district of Kupiškis .
Life
After graduating from secondary school with a gold medal in 1976, he graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in commercial economics in 1980 . From 1980 to 1985 he was vice chairman of the Kavarskas cooperative in the Anykščiai district . From 1985 to 1988 he worked in the district of Ignalina , from 1991 to 1992 in UAB “Lota” as deputy director. From 1995 to 1997 he was mayor of Kupiškis.
From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija , from 1997 on the Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai .
