Württemberg Psychiatry Museum Zwiefalten / Bad Schussenried

The Württemberg Psychiatry Museum Zwiefalten / Bad Schussenried is located at two locations in Württemberg : in the former Zwiefalten Monastery in the Zwiefalten Minster Clinic of the ZfP Südwürttemberg , formerly the "Königlich-Württembergische Staatsirrenanstalt" ( location ), and in the former Bad Schussenried Monastery , now the ZfP's Schussenried location South Württemberg ( location ).

The exhibition has been located in Zwiefalten since 2003 in the former pathology department of the Zwiefalten Minster Clinic. The building was built in 1812 - based on a cemetery chapel. The topics include the social history of everyday life in psychiatry. In October 2009, a clinic walk to buildings and places of special events in the history of the monastery and hospital was designed in Zwiefalten. There are various temporary exhibitions, such as the 2016 exhibition “Chain People”.
