Wladyslaw Czartoryski
Prince Władysław Czartoryski (born July 3, 1828 in Warsaw , † June 23, 1894 in Boulogne-sur-Seine ) was a Polish nobleman, political activist, art collector and founder of the Czartoryski Museum in Krakow .
His parents were Prince Adam Jerzy Czartoryski (1770–1861) and Princess Anna Zofia Sapieha (Anna Sapieha-Kodeńska) (1798–1864).
He married on March 1, 1855 Maria Amparo Muñoz y Borbón (1834–1864) Countess of Vista Alegre, daughter of Fernando Muñoz y Sanchez. From this marriage came the future Duke Franciszek August Czartoryski (1858-1893).
After the death of Princess Maria Władysław Czartoryski married on January 15, 1872 Marguerite d'Orléans (1846-1893). From this second marriage came the sons Adam Ludwik Czartoryski (1872-1937) and Witold Kazimierz Philipp Jan Czartoryski (1876-1911).
Władysław Czartoryski died on June 23, 1894 in Boulogne-sur-Seine and was buried in the family crypt in Sieniawa .
