WARC tapes
As WARC bands are three frequency ranges indicated that in 1979 at the World Administrative Radio Conference to re- amateur service were assigned. They are known as the 12 meter band , the 17 meter band and the 30 meter band due to their mean wavelength .
Due to their low bandwidth, in some cases only very narrow-band modes of operation are permitted and radio competitions are not permitted.
