30 meter tape

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The frequency range from 10.1 MHz to 10.15  MHz is called the 30-meter band . It's in the short wave spectrum and is a WARC band . The name is derived from the approximate wavelength of this frequency range. Since the 30-meter tape is a WARC tape, no contests are allowed here.

Propagation conditions

The daily attenuation by the D-shift is relatively low, so DX connections can be established around the clock in all seasons , even if other DX bands (such as the 10 m , 12 m and 17 m bands ) are no longer usable.
