12 meter tape

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The frequency range from 24.89 MHz to 24.99  MHz is called the 12-meter band . It's in the short wave spectrum and is a WARC band . The name is derived from the approximate wavelength of this frequency range.

Propagation conditions

The 12 meter tape is very dependent on solar activity. In good conditions, DX connections are possible during the day , and there is almost no opening at night. Connections of an intercontinental nature are not possible during the sunspot minimum .
