WASP-2 b

WASP-2 b is an exoplanet that orbits the star WASP-2 every 2.152 days. Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was discovered by A. Collier Cameron et al. discovered in 2006 using the transit method.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.0307 astronomical units and has a minimum mass of approx. 0.88 Jupiter's masses.
