WBSC Premier12 2019
The WBSC Premier12 2019 is the second edition of the WBSC Premier12 , the world baseball championship hosted by the World Baseball Softball Confederation . The tournament will take place in South Korea , Mexico , Taiwan and Japan from November 2 to 17, 2019 .

The 12 national baseball teams with the highest number of points in the WBSC World Rankings qualified to participate . At the time of selection, these were the following:

2nd round
The second round is played in a group of six teams. The 3rd and 4th play for bronze, the 1st and 2nd contest the final. The 2nd round will be held from November 11th to 16th.

Olympic qualification
The best team from America qualifies for the 2020 Olympic Games , as does the best from Asia / Oceania, should it make it into the top six. South Korea thus qualified for the Olympic Games. Japan as the host was already confirmed as a participant.
