WDAY

WDAY ("Newstalk Radio 970") is an American radio station from Fargo , North Dakota. With 10 kW the station transmits on medium wave 970 kHz. It belongs to Forum Communications .

The program consists of a mix of locally produced, locally produced programs and acquisitions by ABC Radio such as the Dave Ramsey Show .

history

WDAY went on the air in 1922 and was Fargo's first radio station. The television station WDAY-TV was also the first television station in the region and went on air in 1953. When it was founded, WDAY-TV was part of the NBC network and switched to ABC in 1983 .

Transmitter network

In addition to the medium wave station WDAY-AM and the television station WDAY-TV, the Forum Communications group also operates the satellite radio station WDAZ . It covers 17 countries and is fed into the Canadian cable network. EDAY-TV is the CW partner for the region and is fed into the cable systems around Fargo. WDAY and WDAZ each have their own editorial team.
