Features

WS-HumanTask offers an XML syntax to describe tasks and notifications. Furthermore, it is possible to use different roles and user groups (whose data types are also included) in order to enable abstraction on a personal level (e.g. "clerk" instead of "Mr. Meier"). It also includes semantics to describe and react to different states, as well as an API for easy interaction between man and machine on the client side.

Interaction between WS-BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask

While WS-BPEL4People takes care of the concrete integration of human interaction into business processes, WS-HumanTask provides more an abstract description of human interaction and access to it.
