The Wabigoon Lake is a lake in Kenora District in the southwest of the Canadian province of Ontario .
Together with the neighboring lake Dinorwic Lake to the east, it forms a lake system, which is flow-regulated and is traversed by the Wabigoon River . The lake has an area of 105 km². Its maximum depth is 14 m. The lake is at an altitude of 330 m . The small town of Dryden is on the north bank . In Wabigoon Lake following fish species are caught: walleye , sauger , largemouth bass , smallmouth bass , pike , muskellunge , yellow perch , crappie , sunfish , lake trout and lake whitefish . The catch of the sea sturgeon is prohibited all year round.
