Arms and costume studies
Waffen- und Costumekunde is a historical trade journal with the subtitle of the magazine for the history of weapons and clothing . It is the leading German specialist body for both historical weapons and costume studies .
The magazine is published by the Society for Historical Arms and Costume Studies
It was founded in 1897 by Wendelin Boeheim as the "Zeitschrift für Historische Waffenkunde" and is currently being published in the third episode. Two issues appear annually.
