Waga Seishun no Arcadia: Mugen Kidō SSX ( Japanese わ が 青春 の ア ル カ デ ィ ア · 無限 軌道 SSX ) is an anime television series produced in 1982 that continues the animated film Waga Seishun no Arcadia , which was released in the same year . It belongs to the franchise for The Adventures of the Fantastic Space Pirate Captain Harlock , but contradicts the template in some places. Internationally, the series became known as Arcadia of My Youth: Endless Orbit SSX .

After the events in Arcadia of My Youth , Harlock and his friends, who have now been declared as outlaws by the Illumidas-occupied Earth government, are looking for a planet on which humanity can live freely. On the journey, however, they find out that the Illumidas have conquered other planets besides Earth. And these are not only used as a place of refuge, but here the friends have to escape the pursuers, as a bounty was offered by the Illumidas.
