Shunsuke Kikuchi

Shunsuke Kikuchi ( Japanese 菊池 俊 輔 , Kikuchi Shunsuke ; born November 1, 1931 in Hirosaki , Japan ) is a Japanese composer .

biography

With an interest in composing film music, Shunsuke Kikuchi, son of a fisherman, studied at Nihon University . He then continued his studies with the Japanese composer Tadashi Kinoshita . In the early 1960s he began composing his own film scores. In addition to real- life films such as Gamera versus Jiggar: Frankenstein's Demon Threats the World and TV series such as Babel II and Around the World with Willy Fog , Kikuchi became internationally known primarily for his compositions for the Dragonball anime.
