action

The notorious and only survivor of a prison break, Nami "Matsu" Matsushima, also known as "Sasori", the scorpion, is wanted nationwide with mug shots. The fugitive prison inmate tries to hide in the anonymity of the Japanese city of Tokyo and to escape the henchmen of the penal system. During a trip to the subway, however, she is arrested by two plainclothes police officers who try to overpower her without success. The extremely defensive Nami manages to escape this threatening situation , despite being handcuffed , by unceremoniously chopping off the arm of the head of the manhunt, Inspector Kondo. The vengeful, one-armed officer then feverishly begins the hunt for the escapist.

In a cemetery, the escaped Nami meets the fate-plagued Yuki, who is prostituting herself to feed herself and her brother , who has been mentally disabled since an accident at work. The whore briefly grants Nami a safe refuge on the edge of the metropolis; However, this security is deceptive, since the criminal yakuza syndicate, which specializes in pimping, rules the androgynous Katsu with their lovers. The isolated and taciturn Nami, who disguised as a seamstress, makes a living, quickly becomes friends with her new acquaintance and learns about her strange, incestuous relationship with her own instinctive brother, whom she appeases almost every day with food and sex. A little later, Yuki reveals to her that she is expecting a child from her own brother and does not want to have an abortion . The prostitute, meanwhile, is illegally doing her “work” in the criminal organization, being put on by angry Yakuzas and led to the sadistic Katsu, which claims part of Yuki's meager earnings, which inevitably leads to a conflict.

Meanwhile, Nami also falls into the clutches of the Japanese mafia when she - completely innocent - is accused of murdering a pimp committed by her jealous neighbor. In the Tokyo underworld, she unfortunately meets her former fellow prisoner Katsu, the leader of the ruling syndicate, who is taking revenge on her former cellmate for suffering. Nami is ill-treated and tortured by Katsu. A short time later, Nami managed to escape from an oversized bird cage, her custody. The situation escalates and Nami becomes the vengeful Sasori again, who decimates the members of the pimp gang with lust for murder. From then on, the "Scorpio" fights with almost self-destructive intent for Yuki, who is connected by a distant friendship, who previously decided to terminate the pregnancy.

Nami is gradually getting caught between the fronts of the pimp yakuzas and the dogged Kondo who is chasing them and sending them out for a large manhunt; Police patrols then comb through the city and drive Sasori into the sewers of the metropolis. She finds support at times in her friend Yuki, who takes care of the needy. But the police in the person of the brutal one-armed man are on the fugitive's heels. In the canal system, they want to get rid of them for good and kill them with an oxidizing mixture, but the strong-willed avenger, believed to be dead, does not give up and emerges almost unharmed from the underground. Nami now wants to devote herself to her remaining tormentor Katsu, who in the meantime turned herself in to the police for protection and was sentenced to prison.

At the end of the film, Sasori is disguised as an arsonist and locked up in the women's prison for a harmless crime, where she drives the imprisoned Katsu, who always fears Sasori's revenge, insane with her stoic calm. On the verge of a nervous breakdown, the former Yakuza boss turns to Kondo, who then visits her unsuspectingly and becomes a victim of the captured Katsu, who Sasori believes she is facing, brutally strangles him in front of her cell door. Sasori takes sobering note of this brutal crime, and her revenge is atoned for. A little later, the arsonist served her prison term, she is released with an unknown target.
