A relatively forest-free high altitude area around the villages of Wahnsdorf and Reichenberg in Moritzburger Land is called Wahnsdorfer Höhen .

The highest elevations are the Wahnsdorfer Kuppe , the Gr./Kl. Gallberg in Boxdorf, Todhübel and the Reichenberg . Numerous small watercourses arise in this area, for example the highland spring that rises at the foot of the Reichenberg in Vogelgründchen.
