True miracles was a television show that was broadcast on the German private broadcaster SAT.1 from its first broadcast on February 21, 1991 to October 1993 .
In the program, studio guests reported amazing experiences that had happened to them. For example, a young woman described how she was run over by a car and survived it unharmed. Another broadcast reported of a man who survived an electric shock from a 110,000-volt high-voltage line. All reports had a maudlin happy ending.
The show was moderated by Sabrina Fox and Christopher Lee (1991) and Dietmar Schönherr (1992 to 1993). The title music and the accompanying theme were composed by Klaus-Peter Sattler .
Was produced true miracle of the GAT in the ARRI TV studios in Munich. With the exception of the last broadcast, all episodes were recorded in front of a studio audience. The first season (6 programs) was broadcast from February 21, 1991 to March 28, 1991 on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. The studio decoration for the first season was done by Jürgen Hassler. From the second season (7 programs), Wahre Wunder was produced by Showy television production, a subsidiary of GAT. From this season on, Hellmer F. Hirseland ( Go on the whole , drops ) was responsible for the set design. The second season was broadcast from January 9, 1992 to February 20, 1992 on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. From the last season (13 programs), the program was broadcast on Mondays at 9:20 p.m. The last time True Miracles was seen on October 18, 1993. Matthias Weigold wrote the scripts for a total of 26 episodes , partly with co-author Sabine Korte. Only the last episode was recorded at the locations of some miracles and only moderated by Dietmar Schönherr. In this program he presented the most exciting stories of the past seasons.
